Worst case scenario,,,what if were relegated???

Wed Jan 21, 2015 1:38 pm

Regarding Season ticket prices??? This seasons prices were set (with the exception of the final year of the price freeze) on us staying in the Premiership, were they not?

The new prices for next season, TBA, will be for a Championship campaign. But what if we go down?

I think its a real possibility that we could be relegated, based on facts, not emotion.

Tough shit I guess.

Just think of the positives if we go down loads of grounds we haven't visited in a while :laughing6: plus the possibility of a short trip to newport

I was thinking that, until I looked at the L1 table.

Swindon and Worzels could come up and Yeovil go down leaving us in a league full of long trips to Northern towns

I think that a lot of people will wait before renewing to see how it's looking as far as next season is concerned.

If we stay in the Championship and Slade gets the boot then renewals won't be too bad.

If we go down or Slade stays and we continue to play in the same mind numbingly dull long ball way then season ticket sales will drop through the floor.

This is exactly the scenario I was thinking. Not Good!

Rick its crossed my mind and if we if were relegated it would be beyond a disaster for our club in financial terms.

How many season tickets would we sell for League one football, 8,000, walk up of 2,000 average home gates of 10,000 in a 33,000 arena ? :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

If you do come down for a one season stop in L1 and we get promoted, it will be f*cking ace! I have a few Cardiff supporting friends in Cwmbran and I've already told him I'm gonna turn up mob-handed at his door at 7am throwing tangerines at his windows
