You can say what you want about slade etc but he's manager you saying he should get sacked won't get him sacked , tan appointed the wrong man but will stick by him by the looks of it

I think the spectacle of watching a City football match
Has been poor since DJ Moans,
.
Ask the ones I sat/stood with when we got promoted and I
Hated the shite I watched.

As far as I was concerned at that time, there was no football
To watch "the beautiful game"

Same applies now, it's just we are losing more than winning.

I like good football, so surely entitled to complain if what is served is shite.

I did then and I will now.

Difference is, Slades signings and the blooding of Harris have been the only positives
In the group of mostly, Malky and Ole signings!

Slade is asking for more time and your statement above is good reason to give him it.

It is Slade who has allowed Harris to come in. Yes it might have been forced on him but I doubt Malky or Ole would have given him the chance under any circumstances. I'm just wondering if any other youngster is about to break through.

The 2 signings have been above average at worst. The front man has scored after 2 full games and look a worker, well above average so far.

Slade needs to start all over again and so far his imports have been OK, too early to really judge. I just feel it is fair he is given a summer transfer. Personally I feel if we were a Millwall people would be off his back.

Its like when we got promoted and everyone said theyd stick by mackay even if we got relegated as we were the favourite to go straight back down.

Then within 2 months people were asking for him to be sacked. When we were 16th.

Blue was the primary objective, now that has been achieved it's time we got going on the playing front again. Slade out! :bluescarf:

Just because the club are back in blue, it doesn't mean that the fans are now not allowed to be critical of the playing side of things.... What a ridiculous notion!

Fair play to Tan. He's given you what you wanted, back to blue and lower league football. You shouldn't moan now Chuckles.

Didn't say that you can by all means but most said they wouldn't care if we were in league 2 aslong as we are in blue :ayatollah:

Always said I'd be happy in league one (Or even two!) as long as we were back in blue. I don't care really. It's nice to be in the premiership and what have you, but mainly I just want to go down the city wand watch us play.

We're not the massive side that a lot of people think we are, we're not going to win the champions league and if you want to watch a team who you KNOW are going to win week in week out, then Cardiff isn't the team for you.

I think we can be good. Two of slade's signings so far (Malone and Ravell) have been excellent and this is just the start of building his team. We DO NOT HAVE THE FUNDS to provide instant results, and a LOT of people are writing off Slade (and have been since BEFORE he even got here)

All I'd ask is for those people to give him time, give him a chance to get HIS squad together and see what we can do. People were complaining about Malone before he got here, turns out he's pretty good. People were moaning about Revell before he got here, two games a goal and 100% work rate

For some silly reason I was thinking that we'd have at least a WEEK after we went back to blue where folks would be happy... Yes things need to change, but if you can't see that things haven't already changed (and certainly improved since Ole's tenure) then you can' be watching the same games I am.

Some interesting points. The first couple of seasons that Jones managed us, I've never seen a passing style of play like it at this level. Maybe Mick McCarthy's Wolves or Steve Coppell's Reading come close but it was so great to watch... albeit at the cost of a leaky defence and inconsistent performances.

Yes, Mackay's set up was workmanlike and more industrial but I really enjoyed watching us under Mackay because of the work rate and cohesion.

I think the thing that is getting people riled at the moment is that we don't seem to show any endeavour. It seems like a case of sit back and limit the damage. That's enough to get anyone moaning.

That said, I'd still prefer to lose like this in blue than win in red.
