Any thoughts?

Always wanted warnock here , he's a great manager at this level and would get the crowd wound up with his passion

He's always demonstrated respect for our fans, a grafter and gets the team playing with spirit at least. Ours look like they have just had to go down on Vanessa feltz

Yes warnock is the more experienced option than slade at this level, with 2/3 promotions to the premier league.
He would be my choice too.

Tan will never employ a strong character or fan idol again after malky. It's as clear as daylight what's going on here and there's certain managers that could not/ would not work under these conditions.

always makes the best of a shit situation too, would be a great manager for us and would give us the "no-one likes us we dont care attitude back"

Sadly Warnock would never work under Tan.

Dont think Warnock will manage long term again. Just a possible interim slot here and there, think he will be back on talk sport soon

warnock would be a terrific appointment IMO. i think he'd enjoy the challenge and unite the whole club behind the cause. however, i don't think tan would be happy with a manager that would tell it as it is and want decent money both for his salary and for new players. for that reason it will not happen. a shame as he has a good track record at championship level.

I think so to. NW has already come out of retirement to manage a few times recently. Could possibly do a consultancy job, but the problem is VT wants cheap "yes" men on his books, & I don't think Warnock is one of those!

I would love him as a consultant or DOF at our club, doesnt need to be at the club day to day, can spend alot of time at his house down the south west and can be the link between board and manager.
Warnock has said in his book that he believes a buffer between manager and board is vital these days
