You seem like a decent bloke.
Face up to the fact that you are out of your depth in this job.
Your team is losing games, leaking goals, can't pass the ball, can't keep possession.
Do the honourable thing please - say that you've done you're best, admit that you're not up to the task and hand in your resignation to Tan with immediate effect.
Not that I'd trust Tan to appoint a proper successor unfortunately but Russell, it's time to be a man and fall on your sword.

We need a football man, not someone who fell into coaching after being a tennis coach and steadily won f**k all for 700 games or whatever it is. Glenn hoddle, Alan curbishley, frank rijkard, trappatoni, villa boas, macelo bills a, bus hiddink, all football men with proper mgt credentials I think still looking for a challenge. We were premier league last year and seem to simply accept this shite slade is giving. It can't go on

Neil Adams at Norwich said the right thing, he quoted thanks for the opportunity , but I'm struggling here at this level and I'm clearly out of my depth. I step down with immediate effect for the better of the club.

All football men who will want paid and heavily backed. Not gonna happen.
You get what you pay for, as we are now finding out.
