Just saw them on SSN. Firs goal, Connolly is left exposed 2 on 1, the ball gets slowly slid across the face of the 6 yard area and Whittingham's attempt to react and cut it out was embarrassing! My nan could have reacted quicker!
What was Sean Morrison doing for the second goal and how many goals has he been at fault for now? Taking a ridiculous gamble to step out and cut out the cross, getting dummied, then leaving a huge space for their player to put the ball across for a tap in!
I agreed with Slade's 4-5-1 system tonight, but we desperately need another defensively solid full back so we can play Connolly in the middle instead of Sean Morrison, who will always be a threat and chip in with goals when attacking set pieces, but be a constant liability defensively with his lack of pace and poor decision making!
