My View/Opinion
" WHAT IS SLADE'S ANSWER NOW ? "
Middlesbrough 2-1 Cardiff City
Crowd 16,035
Incl 88 City fans plus comps
Cardiff City: Moore, Brayford, Connolly, Morrison, Turner (c), Whittingham, Gunnarsson, Adeyemi, Noone, Harris, Revell.
Subs: Wilson, Fabio, John, Ralls, Macheda, Jones, Le Fondre.
Boro were 10 home games undefeated and 13pts ahead of Cardiff City before tonights game and City had only won once away all season.
Less than 100 City fans made this long journey,it reminded me of the old days when we were in Division 4 and our support was like this.
Just getting back in to my car,so I will keep it short and brief before we head for another long journey home, with once again a score line that flatters us and another away trip with zero points
Slade my question to you is, give me the answer to why our team continually only plays for 45 mins, either first or second half ? And it's now one win in our last eight games so no more excuses.
Right I am now travelling home.
My man of the match, Kadeem Harris (for his first half performance)
Up next a break from the Championship,Reading home in the FACUP

CITYS AWAY FOLLOWING IS THE LOWEST AWAY FANS TO ATTEND BOROS GROUND FOR MANY YEARS.

If Slade is here for 10 seasons we'll be 9 divisions below where we are now.

Yes the scoreline flattered us again.Feel for the fans because the players don't care, thats what it boils down to

As funny as that sounds its actually more realistic than going up!,

Maybe we got it wrong, perhaps slade is on a relegation bonus?

Annis, that second half was painful to watch. We're heading in a downward spiral and fast.
We might be lucky that our home form earlier in the season has kept us up.
But tonight we looked like a team that isn't good enough to stay up. But I'm not so sure.
2-1 was a very kind score-line for us.
See you on the 31st for Derby at home

Middlesbrough are a good team no shame in losing to them away today.

When was the last time that 2 teams done the double over us in the same championship season...
This championship is really poor this yr nobody can take control and run away with it. So it proves how poor we actually are rather than other teams being really good.. I wouldn't say anybody is great in this league this season.

Only the most optimistic supporter would have thought we could get anything tonight. I know we've got plenty of optimists on this forum, lots said we had the strongest squad in the league before the season started. Time for a reality check, we were never the strongest team, only had the biggest squad, and our position now is still higher than where I expect us to finish, whoever the manager is.

Tan needs to accept his strategy of appointing a lower league journeyman and selling our most talented players has been disastrous. Change is needed very quickly.
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:13 am
How much of the £150 million will VT get for the club when he sells us in League one ? But on the plus side he may not need to invest to much to bring us back up into the Championship
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:18 am
Slade will take us to where youngy came from Welsh league.
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:19 am
What was it many said ? "Rather be blue in Division 2 "
Let's look on the bright side, it can't get any worse ... Can it?
Have a conspiracy theory on Russel Slade/Vincent Tan.
When Tan appointed Slade, he knew he wasn't good enough, and that he would probably take us further away from where he wants the Club to be.
He also knew he was losing his Rebrand War with the Fanbase.
"Red Is Prosperous" said an Asian man once!!!
So install a Manager incapable of achieving anything and Revert to Blue, Cardiff Fail in Blue!!!!!
Tan will use this against the club for future rebranding......
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:38 am
Couldn't care less if we are lower league so long as we are blue, what difference dies it make what league we are in so long as we have a team to may against each week
Wed Jan 21, 2015 12:39 am
Slade has to go.

I don't think you're far off the mark there !
In fact, if Mr Tan cared for us in any way at all he would have brought Tony Pulis in and given him a budget to work with similar to the huge amount of monies we got back from the sale of all of our Premiership players. I have no doubt whatsoever we would have gone straight back to the premiership had this happened. He would then have at least recouped a large portion of his outlay simply from the riches available from being back in the top flight.
Mr Tan could easily have done this, but because the Red FAILED he has to do something to feed his badly damaged ego, and that something is him being extremely vindictive toward his own club's fans. Yes he may well have taken stick from all quarters, but it's all been self inflicted as far as I'm concerned.
Failure is not a word in Mr Tan's vocabulary but that's all we've had since winning the championship !
He's FAILED us with his choice of managers, He's FAILED us in the transfer market, He's FAILED us most of all though by simply refusing to listen to the fans. I agree totally with you that he is desperate for us to FAIL IN BLUE just so that he can save face, and THAT is the real reason for the return to our true colours.
