A relegation battle ahead

Tue Jan 20, 2015 9:51 pm

Derby home next then shef weds away, make of that what you want. Those who read my posts will know I am a positive poster most of the time but make no mistake we might not be in the thick of it yet but a relegation battle awaits us, I think we will have to many ugly wins at home to go down. Least we will get done excitement. :ayatollah:

In massive trouble,im usually positive aswell . Played better tonight but still shipping easy goals. No confidence and the manager seems well out of his depth

The problem I can see is when we play the teams at the bottom who are fighting for there lives . They will be up for it big time and diving into everything , will our players show the same level of commitment ?

It's starting to get worrying

seriously, i dont think the play offs are in our reach, not with what we have, no january signings to really get us going, and i dont think we will go down, i hope not, so really. our season is over in jan, this is where we will end up i think?

I'm all for the battle, but not for relegation. This is a little premature I feel.

Tonight was a bad result, no getting away from that, especially as HT was 0-0. That is where the focus needs to be away from home. Keep a clean sheet at all costs and you can't lose. Obvious I know but somewhere the tactics need to tighten 2nd half if level. Park the bus, spoil, keep the ball in middle of the field. Just don't concede!!!

There are at least half a dozen clubs worse than you.

You'll be all right.

Can't see us going down. Eleven points to play with plus all others below would have to lose. Slade needs to go but unsure what Tans plans are as if we go down he,ll sell at a loss

Get rid and appoint anybody with a bit of experience at this level of football.

You could probably go in and do the same job. He has only been in charge for 2 games and inherited a stronger squad than Slade did. Slade has got rid of our quality players and our squad is a lot weaker. The main thing is our football is now abysmal, we cannot string 2 passes together and just play hoofball. We have the worst possession stats in the entire Division. Unfortunately, Slade is taking us backwards.

No chance we are going down.

This year any way.
