If there is one example to show what Pulis would have brought to us, West Brom's performance tonight is it. They were lucky Everton missed the penalty, but apart from that, Pulis took his West Brom side to Goodison Park with a game plan and he made his players execute his game plan perfectly. They were an organised unit with the discipline to do their jobs, hold their positions, run theirselves into the ground and nullify Everton into running out of ideas. Pulis would have set us up in a similar way away from home and it would have got us results.

Have to agree with all of that. He's well organised.. Look what he did at palace. Stopped the rot. Bought a spine in centre back, centre mid and striker. Got them playing in the right positions. He's doing the same at WBA. We wouldn't be conceding 3 in the first half all the time for sure.

Pulis knows what he wants and it works.
Slade knows what he wants but it only worked in 1990.

Correct. I watched both matches on Sunday, No team played 442. Same for Saturdays match of day. That y we are dominated in the middle as all teams play either 4231. Or 352. Or 451. Always outnumbered in the middle. Impossible to retain possession.

slade has only been here 5 minutes. i'm not too impressed by his style of football but football is a results business and if thats what ends up getting us out of the championship so be it.
pulis is a good manager, and i would have chosen him over slade, but slade is the man in the hot seat and he gets my support

Also brom were a decent side before pulis went there why compare us with them as no garauntees he would have got us up? More organised yes but that doesnt mean much if don't have players to work with and as we know he wouldn't have would he.??

Come off it, of course he would have done ten times better with our squad !!!
It's not going to happen though, we are stuck with him !!!

He was never going to come here, he's a proven premiership manager who got a now proven premiership team, only reason he was out of work for so long is that no manager was sacked for such period.
Not to long ago when idiots thought we had made it for good were all for telling us pulls wasn't good enough for us due to the football he played, now he's a messiah!
Personally slade news until the end of th season, we aren't going down and we aren't going up. If no improvement by May, I would love them to bring in the guy at MK Dons, although I don't think he would come to us, I also wouldn't mind is approaching someone such as big mick McCarthy who's done wonders with about 20p. Again don't think he would come but has to be worth sounding out.

I watched the game & was thinking exactly the same.
Working with what he's got & making a huge difference already in planning, organisation & execution.

Pulis would have done a fantastic job here.
Agree with previous comments re WBA performance at Everton. He has got them drilled into a well organised defensive unit. They did not look like scoring many but he has started work from the back with the view to pick off points by making them hard to beat.

spot on and you could hear him encouraging and screaming for players to do wat he wanted all match, what a fukin mistake we made not appointing this guy

3-2-1 (snap of the fingers) and back in the room !!
Tan has realised that big buck doesn't always get results and he is never going to make money on this project.
If Pulis wanted to work for one of the lower championship salaries but with big promotion bonuses, with no money to spend and sell all the high wage players I am sure he would be here......
We got blue back, had a season in the premier league and are back to where we were 7 years ago........Its always has been a journey being a Cardiff fan.

If he was interested i agree - Should have given him the £1M Bonus to try and get a team up,as the same deal WBA have given him to keep them up.
