Do you wish we kept Corn-Dog? (Poll)

A lot was made of the Corn-Dog signing but if you add up all the insignificant players like eikrem, berget, dikawho?, etc etc that we've had recently that cost quite a bit, he wasn't that bad.
40k wages is a lot but we have countless players who earn more than they're worth.
He was only 20 odd. I wish we kept him. Imagine if he started every game and what he'd be like now in this league?. Who knows.
All I know is Copenhagen are a decent side and he has scored 10 goals in 28 appearances. How many has Le Fondre scored?. Macheda?.

Of course the mackay thing was the reason for his sale. Taking a loss on the transfer to try and make out he was a disaster of a signing, when he had 8 appearances, 99% of them being a few minutes at the end of games and coming off a bad injury.
You do not buy a 20 year old to score goals for fun in the most competitive league in world football with a relegation candidate. Expectations of him were ludicrous and he wasn't even given a decent crack. He had one glimmer chance in a cup game when played a significant part and played badly. How many bad games has macheda, kenwyne had?.
Adebayor was seen as a donkey until something clicked. Theirry Henry. Gestede is now playing very well. Strikers need time.

If he had not been put on a silly wage by MM etc then definitely YES.
We never gave him a chance as he was injured etc. He had to have been a better option than our 3 other purchases.(BUT hopefully Revell may prove a short term success at 31years old).
As I said at the time you cant blame Corn for accepting the offer and the sale price was even dafter thanthe purchase one! I think VT insisted on him going cos of the alleged financial misdealings etc connected to it Good luck to AC (ironically Ihope he prove MM right sometime in the future!).

If we signed him for 250k/500k on 5/10k a week then maybe.

Hard to say player wise he was never given a chance, although looked pretty awful from the limited time we did see him. On 45k a week though? No chance
