' Cardiff City Players wont be worn out or tired '

City's players flew straight back from Norwich after the game and were home Saturday night with their families.
They now fly out tomorrow,Tuesday at 10am to Middlesborough and then straight back on the plane after the game, they have Wednesday off :ayatollah: :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

FLYING?!

What the hell is wrong with getting on a coach for a drive. Build some team spirit on the way.

They need to conserve all their energy as they'll spend most of the game tomorrow chasing shadows as usual and giving the ball away. It's really tiring watching the other team pass the ball around you for 90 minutes!

Poor little luvvies.

They should bloody walk there and back!

Especially against a team like boro who love to keep hold of the ball and constantly attack... Could be a bad day if we don't turn up.

What if the icy roads cause accidents and traffic jams on top of the horrendous M6 roadworks/average speed checks to delay the team and affect their preparation? I fully agree with flying the team there and back as that will keep the players legs and bodies fresher, plus give us more time to prepare. I know the players are spoilt and don't deserve to be pampered, but a long 5 hour plus bus journey with the risk of affecting their preparation instead of flying won't do the players or us fans any favours.

It's the day before the game, they're not exactly going to be doing shuttle runs are they?

that starts on the training ground
and it was 12 noon today thats 32 hours before kick off ffs

You're right, let's put in a shift 32 hours before kick off and have heavy legs for the match!

There profesionals , supposed to be fit , recover much quicker than us mere mortals
and training with a bit of pace and urgency 32 hours before a game , would not leave them heavy legged
you take into a game what you put in on the training ground :bluescarf: thats my oppinion and its different to yours thats all :bluescarf: doesnt mean im right , doesnt mean im wrong :bluescarf:

I know it's all about opinions, but the players are human beings just like the rest of us. You can't do any strenuous exercise 32 hours before a game. Doing that will kill the players. Sharp, strenuous work should be done a minimum of 2 days before a game and then it should be down to working on tactics, set pieces and a game plan a day or two before the game imo.

Maybe they should spend a bit more time practising how to keep possession of the football.
