The Bluebirds manager was furious and let the players know how he felt after letting in 3 first-half goal away at Norwich City.
"More players will be leaving this month"
Russell Slade is a mild mannered sort of guy, but he didn’t pull any punches when he went in at half-time and demanded a reaction.
He got it and that’s a plus, but he admitted to being frustrated and angry over that poor first half display. Cardiff gave themselves far too much to do in chasing the game.
“I’m disappointed with the defensive side of things particularly the third Norwich goal. That took the biscuit to be honest,” fumed Slade.
"There’s two things, we have to improve defensively or change personnel.
The Bluebirds are now ten points off the play-off places in the division, but Slade insists his team can still force its way into the top six.
“Of course it is possible,” added Slade.
Slade doesn't show his emotion, but he admitted to letting fly at his players during the half-time break - and the squad will gather for a viewing of the match video on Monday before heading off to Middlesbrough,
During that meeting Slade will be focused on those first half defensive moments which blew Cardiff hopes of earning some reward at Carrow Road.
