Revell and Harris have to start up front on Tuesday.

Sun Jan 18, 2015 12:36 am

Le Fondre needs to be dropped to the bench. Simply not good enough at the moment, the lad tries, nothing is coming off for him at the moment, get him on as an impact substitute.

On another note, playing Harris up front has been a breath of fresh air when he has done it. Looks livley and knows where the net is.

From what I have seen of Revell (I was not at Norwich today, just know he got a goal) he has impressed me with his work rate, and how much he works on and off the ball.

I would rather us play 4-5-1 but as we know 4-4-2 is set in stone, it has to be Harris and Revell

Totally agree with this post, am a massive Harris fan.

Totally agree also. I would prefer 4-5-1 too, which can still accommodate Harris and Revell but as we know unlikely formation

Harris is now undroppable. Shouldn't even be a debate.

Agree mate, Harris has to be in the mix. Looking at the highlights he caused murder when he came on and always does when I've seen him.

He is our only player with real blistering pace that can take things strait into the next gear.

Can't see Slade not starting Le Fondre.

Something HAS GOT TO CHANGE. Totally agree Harris has to start.
(didn't see this post before posting that game against Reading gives Slade an opportunity to try something different).

Le Fondre won the penalty, he isn't scoring but continues to contribute. I agree with Revell and Harris needing to start though. Personally, I would start with Le Fondre and Revell, 2 workhorses to run the defenders into the ground. Then I would use Kenwyne as an impact sub.

I think Le Fondre needs to be benched, as I said he tries and tries, but maybe needs a recharge, if he shows some form off the bench, he should start. As said in another thread he suffers from Torres syndrome at the moment. Quality player, tries and tries but nothing is working for him at the moment.

But Le Fondre won the throw leading to the winning goal against Fulham and won a penalty yesterday. He is contributing and is still doing enough to keep his place in the team imo.

I see where your coming from, Harris is getting goals though

I agree Harris and Revell must start, but I would start Revell up front with Le Fondre. We need to start games well and with Kenwyne's inconsistency only putting in a shift when he feels like, I think Revell and Le Fondre's work rate up front starting the game would set the tone and guarantee us starting with an up and at them approach which will give players like Kenwyne the platform to come on after 70 minutes as an impact sub. Just my opinion of course.

Yes but when you got a player like Harris coming on, scoring and terrorising teams he's got to start, we're flat without him
