Why on earth would anyone listen to a recommendation from someone like Glenn Roeder?

Tan is an egotist who surrounds himself with totally the wrong people for the business he is in - can't be the same in his other businesses or he wouldn't be the success he is.

Needs to learn quickly if he wants this venture to be successful.

Or he's taking great pleasure in shafting us!

While I totally agree with you and while the footballing and off field decisions have been awful, part of me also understands you cant always have it all your own way. We have been in the top 6 of the championship for a very long time and a year in the prem. Granted your WBA, West Ham Norwich of this world have continued to be a prem or top championship side but plenty over the years have fallen off, Derby, Shef Utd, Scabs, Wolves to name but a few. It happens. Just look at Southampton!!!

My point is while Tan has made bad decisions, look at the above mentioned and realise no guarantee that with a good owner you will get overnight success.

The further Tan is away the better for all. Dalman could be a good CEO if Vinnie didn't keep making executive decisions.

I guess Vinnie is planning to make a £20/30 million or better loss after the parachute payments are over, so I am expecting the asset (player) stripping to continue for the next 2 seasons.

Swansea, Burnley, Blackpool have all done it on limited budget, but to get the golden ticket, you need to be in the championship. So I think he'll need to give Dalman some power.

I doubt we will get a mention in VT empire.

Your right malkay, ole and Slade all bad appointments with much better options out there. He gave it a go and pumped his money in but was badly advised by others.
Tan says Slade was his appointment but we all know it was down to roeder.

Understandably Tan now expects the club to be self sufficient so the expensive players have gone and the new manager has to work miracles on a shoestring. Trouble is Slade just hasn't got what it takes to perform those miracles so we are just going to have to put up with rubbish until the debts are reduced by the parachute payments so the club then becomes saleable and we can then moan about the next owner and get used to having money troubles again.

But Dalman appointed Ole and Ole turned out to be a huge mistake and for this you put the blame on Tan and not Dalman?

Absolutely and no doubts we have suffered as a result. Having said that Dalman nearly made it as a footballer and is a lover of the game and Roeder as bad as we know him to be is not a non football person and it has still gone all wrong. It's simply about getting the right manager in just as it is for any other club out there. There are no guarantees in football, we have seen enough crap football from City over the years to know that.

I would just love to know what was it that made Tan completely dismiss Tony Pulis. It was so obvious he would have been a success here but perhaps he wanted a budget and Tan was so pissed off with us then he just didn;t want to give us our favourite

Family commitments and they come first.

Wrong Manager (gave him a chance) even a good name would have made us play better with the squad we already had ie Hughton,Clark,Holloway and even DJ as they know this League.

It's not all VT fault but he does need someone who knows us, the city, the Welsh and football in general
