Is it time we consider dropping nooney? and our centre mid..

Sat Jan 17, 2015 2:40 pm

We are in January and we still havent played a slick fluent high tempo passing game to date.
its been messy and scrappy and sloppy at times.

imo I would like to see a winger who has a much better pass completion rate and a fantastic touch.
we need our midfield generals dictating the play and wanting the ball all the time being able to keep possession and get it back into contention outwide or up front without the likes of noone who just dont have the completion rates right now.
Whitts is usually our most accurate and comfortable on the ball,
I think a new nucleus in midfield with a prolific striker and one more cb with better footballing ability Would throw us right into contention

Cowie mutch and Conway 3 huge losses at championship level!
Caulker and Medel..

to be honest I think its those voids that have hurt us its exactly those spots we need quality

Agreed, probably not a lot we could have done about mutch mind but I think we messed up letting Conway go I always rated him. Although ole ripped our whole spine apart including the players who got us to the pl in the first place

Noone is about the only player with any pace in the team dropping him would madness

Dropping Le Fondre and putting Harrison the wing with Whitts behind Revell would be a decent start.

For a wide man I would say Noone lacks a pit of pace, he has the trickery but struggles to get away from his man.
He's been caught a few times recently turning inside without having that turn of speed. Just an opinion mind, as I like him as a player
