Two blokes on there saying whats the point in finding a job if it pays less than benefits after outgoings, to me id say take the job have half your benefits if i was in power that way it gives people in that situation and incentive and something to go out and work for plsu the country saves money. I agree with them why would anyone with half a brain cell want to go out in the piss wet rain all day for 40hours a week to be worse off money wise and can have more sitting in the house. This program just paints a story of how fucked up this country is

Haven't watched it but when you hear about people using food banks then the next minute you see family's of 10 spending £3,000 on Xmas presents and foreign holidays then it's like, wtf do people need food banks for? The reason is because these fucxking scroungers see it as another money avenue and another way of spending money on luxury's that tax law abiding citizens can't afford and Labour have said if they gain power then they won't do what the Tories are doing which is cutting the welfare bill and setting limits and how much unemployed as that's wrong so Labour will increase the welfare budget by £2 billion pounds.

the people that really struggle in this country are those that work on on low wages and don't get many benefits. and there are loads of them, those are the ones using food banks, as its not possible to survive on the minimum wage in some areas.

Why do most of these people need food banks..............because they waste their money on rubbish food, lager and fags.
As for the food..........go to lidl, bags of vegetables for 59p......bags of fruit 69p.......8 pork steaks £4....4 tins of beans 90p.....its were all us poor working people are shopping.

The point is why would people want to work for much less money if there getting MORE for FREE hence why i said make an incentive for them for example if there offered say a minimum wage job and it works out there losing money after rent & bills ect why not say to whoever he or she is take that job and we will give you half or a quater of your benefits along with your minimum wage job meaning there getting more which is an incentive for them to get up and work.
Thats why we are where we are today with this countrys shitty system and people staying on FULL benefits.
To me it would save billions over a year doing things this way also they would be paying into the system with a job but who am i just another internet pixel on a screen

I agree these people make me evil, you and I pay tax on our incomes over 10500 pound even as a pensioner because I provided for my old age I still pay tax on my pensions.so how come all these benefits are tax free except for your old age pension some scrounges have incomes over the ten and half grand but don't get taxed.start taxing the lazy bastards I say,one year on benefits with no tax to help unlucky guys who lose work through no fault of their own, rant over for now

And don't come back at me on here all you do gooders, coz ive had a shit load of this all my life, ive lived in the same villages as people who do this. Enough is enough the working taxpayers of this country have had enough.

I understand your point exactly mate.
There was an elderly lady on the Breakfast News earlier on today who went out working as a waitress as she didn't want to claim benefits. Thats the pride I'm talking about. There's plenty of people like that about but the wasters far out number them.
A lot of them, similar to what Denzil says, are serial scroungers who have no interest & wouldn't work even if they could.

Its because the country is run by idiots who have not got a clue but then voted in by people with no clue.

this or any government does not care about you, they care about the money coming in.

who in their right mind Is goung to work for less money than they get on benefits.

The answer....
1 year full benefits if you have worked full time for at least 2 years

after this period you get food tokens with a small amount of cash for bus fare to go for interviews

Obviously you get rent help

thing is, most people would work if they could pay their bills, put food on the table, buy clothes and have a decent holiday a year

what people dont want is to work in a dead end depressing hole of a job and have nothing to show for it.

I have been lucky and never been out of work.

have they? whenever the conservatives propose a cut in welfare payments of any type, people come out screaming class warfare and that the conservatives are hammering the poor.

witness the so called 'bedroom tax' and the cut in child benefit payments to those earning £60k+.

Financially this country is finished. The reason, recession aside, is due to the NHS being inflated with middle management and an inflated public sector in regard to the welfare state. The entire public sector needs streamlining but it wont happen because of the backlash which would only see Labour reelected and the financial problems would get worse. Its a vicious cycle. Until we learn to live within our means as a nation then we're going to continuously have to sell off assets and lose money. It's tragic but the future is bleak for the under 30's of today. I'm fortunate enough, like some others, that I've been able to go to university and can leave in the next few years. Others aren't so fortunate.
