Javi Guerra has joined Malage FC in the Spanish La Liga on loan until 30 June 2015, Good luck to him

Guerra remains contracted to us until the summer of 2017.
Cardiff City have now confirmed that striker Javi Guerra has completed his proposed loan move.
The 32 year old forward moves to Malaga on a loan deal until the end of the season.
Having agreed a pre contract last January, he joined us in the summer under former manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer from Valladolid, and in his time with us he made two starts and three further appearances from the bench, but he has been largely forgotten and last appeared for us back in the three nil loss to Bournemouth on home soil back in late September as we went out of the Capital One Cup.
Clearly he hasn't and probably won't figure for new manager Russell Slade.
A statement from Malaga read.
'Malaga and Cardiff have reached an agreement for the transfer of Javi Guerra, with no buy out option included. The striker has joined the team in training this morning and will be a member of Malaga until the end of the season.'

For whatever reason he didn't feature under two managers. I seem him play 17 mins against boro and I could t believe how good he was but that is just a snap shot. Good luck to him and on we go.

Just watch him score a shedload now, think we've missed a trick or two here.

Only positive in this is getting to watch him play. Most exiting signing for me in the summer and sad to see him leave.

Let's hope he has a good 6 months in Spain and changes a few people's minds who've not given him a fair crack at the City. Go Guerra!! Show us what we're missing.

A crying shame he has to go. Potentially was our best signing but never really had a chance to shine.
As it is a loan, the door is still open, but I think he's destined to leave permanently. I for one wish him well and hope that wherever he ends up, he is given the opportunity to express himself on a regular basis.
Good luck Guerra

Had an amazing cameo debut against Huddersfield. Miles ahead of anyone else on the pitch. Quality.
Guerra and Ravel both made excellent debuts and were kicked into touch for whatever reason. The funny thing is they produced more in 20-40 mins than some players have all season. Where are they now? Not good enough for Cardiff City FC!

A shame he wasnt given a chance and by all accounts was banging the managers door down trying to get a game.
All the best to him

Got to be a wages issue (ie on too much) because its certainly not an ability or attitude issue, he asked to play.

saw him walking round town the other week, shame no one recognizes him, i thought he had a good touch and everyone knows he has scored plenty of goals elsewhere
shame it didnt work out, odd circumstances surrounding his signing anyways but it always amazes me when i keep oin hearing that we are desperate for a striker, when we have plenty on the sidelines or we have loaned or sold them off cheap
our striker position is a bit of a black widow

Shame he wasnt even given a chance ahead of a bench full of defenders and defensive midfielders.
