CELTIC can confirm that Jo Inge Berget has returned to Cardiff City following the completion of his six-month loan deal.
The attacking midfielder made eight appearances for the Scottish champions, scoring twice, with both goals coming in a 6-1 victory over Dundee United in August. He last featured in the UEFA Europa League win over Dinamo Zagreb on October 2.
Everyone at the club would like to thank Jo for all his efforts in Paradise and wish him well in the future.

Berget is training with Norwegian side Honefoss with a view to securing a deal

I thought he was the kind of player we would need if we were to play 4-5-1 like we should be.

Absolutely not. He was there because of his brother. No way he would sign for a Norwegian team playing on the second highest level. If I was Slade, I would give him a try. Maybe he will be more like the player Slade likes. Give him a shot on the wing or behind the striker(s).

I'd play him in the number 10 role for a couple of games. Got to be worth a go rather than just writing him off.

Doesn't look like Slade wants to give anyone much a try. Didn't decide on Burgstallar without seeing him or giving him any sort of chance?

Get rid of him. If Celtic don't think he is good enough for them, then we should just cut our losses.

Agreed - If he's not good enough for the SPL - get rid.
