There are reports coming out of Italy that Leeds United and Cardiff City have joined the race to sign Empoli goalkeeper Davide Bassi. The player looks to be leaving the club and the two Championship sides are both showing a keen interest in him.

If this is true then Marshall must be up for sale.
Maybe that's why this mysterious injury is keeping him out for 'the rest of the month '.
He is our most saleable asset so maybe VT is looking to recoup some money and maybe thinking promotion chances are slim this year, so bank what we can so we can have another crack nextvyearbor 2 and stay within do rules ?

Leeds are under a transfer embargo, due to breaking FFP rules, so the article is probably bollocks.

News from Italy tonight is that BOLOGNA are also keen to sign the keeper.
