Whilst I can see why people are saying this there are a couple of things that may make this inaccurate.

Firstly, it has long been rumoured that Marshall needs a groin op and it's just a matter of whether we can get him through to the end of the season before having to have the op.If that is the case then I just can't see any Prem club signing him in the Jan window if he is at risk of not being able to see out the season.

Secondly, if he has an ankle injury, as we are told, again he isn't at the point where he can go straight in and play and that is always key in the January window.

Finally, I know that Marshall is absolutely happy with living and playing at Cardiff plus he will not risk his Scottish No.1 position by going somewhere where he may not be first choice.

I don't have an issue with us selling him if he wants to go because I think he deserves to play at a higher level and he's been outstanding for us and been loyal. We won't really know until 31/01/15 but having seen Moore play for a couple of games I am less worried than I was, either way !!

You are spot on with this!

Marshall (and his family) are very happy in Cardiff and his Scotland ambitions are very high on his list of priorities ;)

Does that mean he can't move?

Sounds slightly ominous when a player picks up a mystery injury, when the transfer window opens, especially given the way the club seem to be moving on the high earners over the last couple of weeks. Personally, I don't think he would be a big miss, if he leaves, I think there are able replacements out there who can do a more than adequate job at this level for us, probably on a fraction of Marshalls wages.

Yeah if he's truly injured then he can't pass a medical. But reading what I have about matts the club have lied/overexagerated about players they are getting rid of in the not so distant past! So who knows

I was speaking to Keith Cooper on Saturday and asked him why Marshall was not playing? He confirmed Marshall had picked up an injury and felt that it was very unlikely that he would be moving has Marshall and his family are very settled in Cardiff.

Also said Marshall was a top bloke who was very approachable, personally I hope he stays but if he did leave I would thank him for his time at Cardiff and wish him all the best for the future  :old:
