Kadeem Harris for me would create so much off Revell winning headers

I think first we need to get a decent midfield who could supply our forwards.
If we don't have that, no matter how good the striker is he'll just get lonely waiting for the ball that never comes.

He's not a natural striker though, he can slot In at no.10 but a poacher I'm not sure

He had the pace to cause problems but I can't see him being clinical enough to score 15-20 goals

You can't slot in the striker when he doesn't move and ALF is hiding

A manager would be my choice. I just don't see how 4-4-2 will work and Slade won't change it

Would love to see Joe Mason back!!

ALF hiding? ALF never hides and puts in a shift every game. His work rate is tremendous, which is probably why he hasn't scored many as he's doing the unselfish work to take the pressure off our struggling team. Maybe if our midfield improves, ALF won't feel the need to run himself into the ground and he can then concentrate more on getting into scoring positions in the box.

I know some will disagree with me but I think we need to find a whits replacement, he has been an excellent servant over the years and his set pieces/corners are outstanding, but I think he lacks pace, he's always looking to pass the ball, hardly ever goes in for a tackle and is often found lurking too deep. Opinions please

This is how I feel. Saturday's game he was constantly running, trying to find space and take defenders with him. Yes he had the quite poor shot and I think he should have laid it off BUT I can't really blame him, he was in a good position and obviously he didn't TRY to give a weak effort

And again, another I agree with. Whitts has been loyal, yes. But his tackling skills are part of the reason other teams run all over our midfield like it isn't there. I'd disagree that it's a bad thing to always look for a pass BUT the way he is doing it, means he loses possession more times than not. Maybe get him on the bench, or let him go. Though that would probably have to be for a nominal fee to a lower league team.

Are you serious? Hiding?
He's the exact opposite to hiding!!!
Level other criticism at him ok, but his work rate & desire is not in question.

the club talk about cutting costs, why don't we look at the youngsters? like Healey or Danny Johnson? They are looking very good in DVP/Loaned games know where the net is. Surely they can score as much as ALF has. Revell is a 100 percenter by all accounts as is ALF, but I cant see both working together, a goalscorer is needed. And I know ALF is a goalscorer but he has not produced the goals this year even though his work rate is very good.
