Everton make enquiry into £6m rated Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall

EVERTON have made an enquiry for Cardiff goalkeeper David Marshall but will have to pay at least £6million to sign the Scotland international.

The Toffees want a replacement for Joel Robles and added competition for Tim Howard, who could head to the MLS in the summer.

They may also look abroad, with Mainz goalkeeper Loris Karius, Sergio Romero of Sampdoria and Feyenoord's Erwin Mulder on their list.

Liverpool are also interested in Marshall - but would prefer a loan until the summer.

The daily star so meh at best. If this is true then some communication with the club needs to be made that telling fans players are injured when they are being sold is not on.

They won't tell fans truth until deal is done as it would be part of the Everton clause that it must be kept quiet to stop other clubs coming in. Come on that's basic transfer policies can't blame club for that. Let's try not to knock club straight away
