Macheda - shit
Mason - injured (over rated by many on here)
Maynard - not recaptured his form since injury
Think it's an area which needs strengthening

nice one Luke, you are right, if I tried to defend Le Fondre on his importance to the team I would fail

His hard work couldn't disguise the fact that he messed things up nearly every time he had the ball. He is painfully slow and his finishing dismal. His past record suggests he may be able to sort out the finishing, but as things stand shouldn't be anywhere near the side. I'd rather see young Johnson given a chance.

But Le Fondre's hard work gave us the platform to build attacks and Le Fondre's and Revell's hard work in the second half helped get us a clean sheet. What a difference having 2 work horses up front for the second half! No coincidence we kept a clean sheet with Le Fondre and Revell taking the pressure off the rest of the team.

Also no coincidence that we didn't score again with a front pair who have scored only six goals between them this season in a combined total of about 50 games.
Hard work is great and will always endear players to the fans but we need to have some strikers who actually score goals for a change.

You fail to realise it was Le Fondre's work which won us the throw leading to our goal. Just because Le Fondre isn't scoring doesn't mean he isn't contributing.

Le Fondre is not contributing what he is there to contribute - goals.
