Dalman and club also, only reason they changed back to blue is to maximum tans recovery of monies hes spunked, much of which he didnt need to, or income they never got from advertising, tickets, shop etc, dont be fooled hes only interested in recouping his foolish outlay, the mans a slimy sneak

yeah he's obviously got a motive - the rebrand didnt work financially. It's clear he's recouping what he can and cutting squad costs etc. etc. but I don't see it as a major issue, we got what we wanted and that was our club back in its traditional colours. We need a more sustainable club with a more realistic business plan without relying on him pumping millions and millions in. Forked tongue or not, it's a positive move for the club.

It is yes, but why not say it as it is, didnt need a meeting with fans reps, change was going happen anyway, as he just wants as many ££££s as he can get is hands on, wont have mine though

Couldn't help but notice the 's' on the end of cocks. If you read my post properly, I wasn't moaning I was saying we've achieved what we wanted to achieve and just trying to explain to the OP tans just recouping costs to make us more sustainable. Learn to read before you start sending insults.

club shop sales now we are back in blue will be no more than a million to a million and a half
that's 500k to 750 k profit ffs pocket money to tan
some peoples perceptions are really quite stupid and pathetic with no factual reasoning

Even the 150 million we are in debt to him isn't a lot to Tan.

the only problem with 150 million debt is it makes the clubs value to a new buyer look poor
that's why tan is trying to reduce our spending which will also reduce our debt and make our club look more appealing to new buyers

I honestly couldn't care less if the reason we changed back to blue was because they ran out of every other colour dye at the manufacturers factory. At the end of the day we are back to blue so lets unite and support the team and be thankful this is what has happened now. Tan, like many owners before him, could have just stayed stubborn and not did anything. Financially he would have lost a lot and we'd have lost a club. Wouldn't be the first businessman to take a massive loss just to rub salt in the wounds. Tan could have sold the club for cheap and then made the money back elsewhere. He knows people, has strong influence in Asia and knows how to play the markets to make a profit. He also has strong governmental ties.

Here we go.
The only reason we're back in blue is because the club were scared that they were going to lose us, the football has been dire and we've been putting up with the red for far too long, it was about time fans were starting to walk out on the club. Watch the press conference with Dalman, you can clearly see that the return to blue is for unity between the fans and the club, they know that they need us and not for financial purposes. As crazy as Tan is, there is no hidden agenda in all of this, but who cares even if there is. We've got our club back, cheer up!
