Thats a hell of a lot of money, is he worth it, ? I suppose every player has a price, but for me no but good luck to him, he is going to be a very rich young man

I can't see it but he is the perfect player for United.

Its a bit pricey, they will probably make back a nice lump of that in shirt sales etc, he could be instrumental in mounting a challange
if they have the right players around a top top class striker maybe even ronaldo to follow suit.
Personally I think 80 million is more realistic

well hes worth more than they bought him for, as he as proved he is world class at another higher club than spurs!

Can't see why he'd leave Madrid after only 1.5 seasons, as it's hardly like he's flopped out there. That said, the guy could win a club the Premiership all on his own - bloody superb player

I'd be gutted if this happened. Love Bale but hate man ure. He's at the best team (aside from the Bluebirds) why go to a lesser team?

Just another newspaper rumour, I reckon. How could United justify paying that much money for a single player. How could any club? And more to the point, why would Bale leave Madrid? They could well become the first club to retain the Champions League in its current guise. They are also well-placed to win La Liga, which if they do, would complete the set for Bale after just two seasons. Of course, he won't have won the Spanish Super Cup (essentially Spain's version of the Community Shield), but that's not much to shout about
Also, I feel proud to have a Welshman playing for Real Madrid, the first ever to do so. Going from one Premier League club to another (e.g. Spurs to United) happens often, but it's not often that a Welsh player is made the most expensive player in history by arguably the biggest club in the world. Personally, I wouldn't want him to leave Madrid for those reasons.

that's the most unreliable newspaper in the UK (statistically) so don't think much of it. But to answer your question, not yet.

With the money they've spent already this yr and need to spend again in the summer I can't see how they'd meet financial fairplay rules if ths was true

Fans are slating him in Madrid at the moment, he had an absolute mare the other night as well, as all players do though. He's not played great this season and the word out there is if he hadn't cost all that money he wouldn't be anywhere near the team at the moment.

Against Valencia? I didn't really see the game so I can't really comment, but I did see the chance he had when he should have passed to Benzema. But if Bale is selfish, then what on earth is Ronaldo?
