By the look of the timeline Slade brought him in to Orient and let him go because he wasn't good enough and then resigned him for us... Bizarre...

I think you'll find Slade signed 30 free transfers for Leyton Orient and had to continually sell all their best players to financially stabilise the club, Alex Revell being one of them.
