last nights meeting had no meaning and was done to save face

i am grateful for the blue return but yesterday staff at the club where called into a meeting early and where told of the change would happen. the whole meeting it seems was done as a save face.

I wouldn't say save face.

but certainly a pointless exercise in terms of what is meant. It was so Tan can say he now consults with the fans prior to making decisions, but as you say, the decision was already made and plans submitted to the FA for permission.. which has already been granted.

This isnt about winners, losers, who came out on top, who was right who was wrong. The right decision was made for the good of the club. From a business perspective. From a footballing perspective. From every way you can look at it. Lets give VT some credit for putting right something that was wrong. Of course its a shame that something that gave us so much heartache was so easily put right but lets move on.
