Being totally honest I became seduced by Vincent Tans investment package regarding the Re brand conditions of Colour strip change, Badge alteration as V T promised an all- out assault on promotion to the Premiership if these terms were accepted.
The main reason being having been introduced to my hometown club as an 11 year old in the 1970/71 (the season we missed out on promotion to the old first division by a cat's whisker)which alas was not to be leaving myself devastated and thus over the next few decades watching unfashionable achieve promotion to the elite league , I mean after all how could such clubs as Bradford, Wigan,Reading, Charlton to name a few and not us achieve this feat! this just became a bone of contention with myself and believing as any youngster would whilst watching my first games on the terraces of Ninian Park that Cardiff City were worthy of playing and beating the best teams around as we proved in many European encounters .
I felt then we had the crowds, atmosphere and fan loyalty warranting the opportunity to play at the highest level which I now believe more than ever, Over the past few seasons it has upsetting watching the re brand tearing our club apart from the terraces to the pitch .
Not making any excuses for my initial Pro Tan stance as it is my belief that he has saved this club from certain administration but certain things in life define people's ideals but seeing the decay and erosion the colour change has created I am absolutely ecstatic we are now going to back to Blue

I think quite a few thought it was done on a whim, which it probably was. Being like this people thought it would be reversed sooner as there was no real financial gain from it, then it wasn't so people eventually became frustrated by it. It doesn't really matter now mind....
