Maybe, just maybe a play?

Now this is in no way meant to stir the pot. And I am not a Jack or anything of the sort, I'm Cardiff through and through and have been quietly watching this board for years, and only posting on occasion (that's why my low post count), but this was just a thought that I had.
Could this all have been a big play by Mr. Tan?
Admittedly if it was, it was risky, and this idea is probably rather far fetched. When Tan first came in, he was praised, but he was just the money behind the face of TG. He then changed us to red and consolidated himself as owner of our club, making himself an enemy to most. Perhaps he saw it this way, if the fans accept my change to red, I get what I want and all will be well, but if they don't I'll leave the animosity to fester for a bit and then come in, change my mind, and be a hero again. It really was at the end of the day, a win-win. Think, at Christmas, he stirred the pot one last time with his statement of never changing back to red. Yes, you might argue that no self-respecting man would make himself look like he's an idiot who goes back against his word that he stuck so much by. But Tan is a businessman first, and maybe that's what he thought was necessary to push fans over the edge to make it worse once and for all, so he could save the day. There is talk on here now of "massively improved merchandise sales" and "songs praising Mr. Tan" and I agree with all of this, I think the praise would be well-deserved, he has done an immense amount for our club and as Dalman said not 30 minutes ago, he has invested not only money but emotion and time. But, now he will rake the money back in before it gets too bad, and get the fans back on his side. Yes, you could argue that if he wanted to be a hero he just should never have done it in the first place. However, he is a businessman and perhaps just wanted to take that risk.
Like I said, just a genuine thought and I wanted your thoughts on it too. Maybe we could just have a discussion about why or why not this isn't true, and anyone else's thoughts. For me this is still one of the greatest nights in a long time, and I can't wait for the statement tomorrow and Saturday for a bouncing stadium.

Is this a serious post? You must be American with that conspiracy theory! Right now who cares, move forward and unite together. As long as Tan comes out with credibility and can blame somebody else he can move forward and so can we.
