I have just looked at the fa handbook for this season and there is nothing to say we need to wait till next season to change back to blue, as long as permission is granted from relevant sources.
See item 9(b)
You do not have the required permissions to view the files attached to this post.

The way I see it, I'm sure if the club ask for it, they can wear blue this season! Under special citcumstances, it's not a common problem so let common sense prevail!

I would assume it's correct as I downloaded from fa website.
Probably need permission from FAW, football league and FA

Hate to rain on you're parade, but playing in blue will not make Gunnerson Whittinham Macheda, ect ect play any better....and by the way I'm in the blue corner before you ask

Got to disagree here Chief. The Fans will sing louder and the players will respond. It will benefit both

I´m surprised as I found this somewhere else:
38.1 During the Close Season, each Club shall notify the Executive, in writing, details of its ‘home’ and ‘away’ colours (shirts, shorts and stockings) and if applicable any third ‘alternative’ set of colours. The Executive shall inform all other Clubs, Referees and Assistant Referees of such details. The Home colours so registered by each Club shall be worn for all Home Matches during the next following Season and no changes either in the colours or combination of colours shall be permitted during the course of the Season. Notwithstanding the aforementioned, each Club is authorised on one occasion per Season to play a Home match in an ‘away’ or ‘alternative’ strip.

It won't make them world beaters but we will all have been at games where the crowd has made a difference. Unity in any organisation, particularly a football club, is vital.
It won't get us promoted but it may well steady a ship that is listing at the moment

Actually, I think you´re wrong. Feeling the full backing of the fans will make an impact. In general, why do you think there´s a difference playing home and away?
