Can't wait

Thu Jan 08, 2015 1:02 pm

We will be in Blue hopefully for the Fulham game. Tan will sell our best players to recoup some finance and pocket the parachute payments, we might even be lucky to bring in some Orient internationals. We can then enjoy a nice slide down the leagues with no chance of regaining championship status let alone premier league. We can once again travel away to Rochdale, Hartlepool etc in our hundreds and at home our 7,000 plus supporters will once again bring the house down. Slade will be sacked because we will organise protest after protest to get him out and most probably Scott Young will take over. Back to the good old days, can’t wait. But remember we will be back in Blue.

Just my opinion but don't think it will be to far from the truth.

25 odd thousand fans showed they were willing To come see cardiff in the right circumstances that dwindling number is in large part down to off field shite. Fix that and you've won half the battle.

It's unlikely that if Tan does bring Blue back he will let the club crumble. His investment is likely to be staged down, less on transfers more of an aim towards self sufficiency. Not a withdrawal of everything, Tan has other football clubs he doesn't want to be seen as a obscene owner.

I really believe he will bite the bullet and pull out. We can then get ready for some letters from HMRC.

I dont think so, I cant see Tan wanting any of his business to fail, he doesnt want that kind of attention. He has in the past made major cut backs and left businesses to be self sufficent though.

I agree with what you say but how can we be self sufficient if we are supposedly loosing £1M a month and most certainly with smaller crowds it must surely end up in liquidation or admin

Unlikely there are apparently investors around so the club has every chance of being saved. And like Luke said, he's unlikely to leave until the club is self sufficient.

I'm still not overly hopeful over this meeting.

It wont be done over night but I would guess we have 3 years until the parachute money is gone. Cut backs already made in management and backroom staff. It seems big earning players are on the way out.
Increase in merchandise sales and hopefully in blue our season tickets holders will renew. It wont be easy but its hopefully do-able.
