I know not a City player any longer but Rudy has been linked with a move to West Brom (Daily Mail).

I believe that he is near the top of the Championship goal scoring charts this season and has done well since he moved on.

To be honest he would have been ideal for us, I doubt he was on a huge wage, a good age and had a bit about him even if it was only shown in small glimpses initially. Not sure why Malky wanted rid of him when just a loan to Blackburn would have done.

I never rated Rudy when he was with us but saying that he did not many games to show what he could do. He has undoubtedly improved over time and he has not got a decent scoring record at championship level.

Would not be surprised if he did go to a club like West Brom under Pulis.

Agree with you bridgendbluebird. His performances weren't consistent enough for us. I'd probably have kept him as back up but not sure if he'd have stayed if that was the case. Pleased for him to be doing so well now though. Shows what confidence and a team playing to your strengths can do.

Malky loaned him out. He was sold the day after Solksjaer was appointed.

Although he didn't show it too often for us, he was always a decent player and has really blossomed this past 12 months

I didn't think he done much wrong as he was always used as a sub he done a job. Standard ole ripped apart our proven squad and brought in the likes of macheda

Hadn't ole been in charge for a day or so. The option to buy is often a signed agreement that just becomes official in January.
