Report: Chelsea’s Islam Feruz to train with Cardiff City ahead of loan move

Chelsea’s young forward Islam Feruz looks set to join Championship side Cardiff City on loan.

The Championship club are looking to solve their goalscoring problems by moving for Chelsea’s highly-rated young forward Islam Feruz.
A Scottish Under-21 international, Feruz joined Chelsea from Celtic in 2011, and has since become a key part of the successful youth set-up at Stamford Bridge. He won the 2012 FA Youth Cup, finished runner-up in the 2013 NextGen Series, and won last season’s Under-21 Premier League tournament. A prodigal goalscoring talent, he was also the joint top scorer in the 2012/13 NextGen campaign, and has scored 18 goals in 34 games for the Blues Under-21 side.
This was meant to be his breakthrough season, and he signed a season-long loan deal with Greek Superleague club OFI Crete, although he left them after making just one league appearance.

As a means to get his development back on track, the Blues are looking for a new club to send him out on loan to, and the Daily Mail is reporting that the 19-year-old is training with Championship side Cardiff City ahead of a temporary switch that will keep him in Wales until the end of the season. Bolton were also said to be interested in Feruz, but the report indicates that the Bluebirds are well ahead in the race for his signature.
The deal is set to be completed by the end of the week, and Cardiff fans will be hoping that Feruz can have the kind of impact that a number of other Chelsea loanees have had in the Championship.

I thought this deal was off but it looks very much back on now! Don't get how its not been mentioned on here or am I missing something?

Feruz changed his agent on sunday as it looks like his previous agent had put a stop to his loan to us, rang Slade 11pm sunday night and asked if he would still be welcome at our Club. He must have travelled down straight away as he trained with us on Monday. Fair play to the lad
