back to blue promise - then not delivered ?

hopefully the meeting gives us what we all really want....and it would unite the whole club top to bottom. Season ticket sales would hit a very respectable target (imo) and all would be rosy in the garden.

BUT, what if they go back on their word and do not deliver the promise (after raking in the season ticket money), what recourse would we have....? what if the club is sold in June and those that made the promise leave ? Legally, where would we stand....breach of trading standards ? (we had that with PR !?).

Is there a way we can ring fence any promises made going forward ?

Not really, but it seems that the heads of the club are doing this because they do not want to be seen as destroying a football club. The actions you're talking about would be sucicdal if that were the case to begin with.

I agree, it would be complete suicide. That doesn't mean it is out of the realm of possibility mind. As the original poster stated, we've had it before.
