Exactly we've had years of big time Charlie's and players whose names have added to their salary and it's not got us anywhere.

Only down side is they could have got a manager whose style of football wasn't from 1990 so it could look like we were building something.

It was obvious what was going on with the cheaper appointment of slade as manager. His style is shit but people are saying you got to give him his own players as NONE are his signings, although I can not see anything changing even if he gets half a team in he wants.

People were tearing their foreskins off over the likes of Cowie, Taylor who weren't exactly game changers, light the game up but grafters.

Totally agree. If we go back to blue and return to a budget approach then I'm fine with that. I loved our first couple of seasons in the Championship when we struggled but had players who gave a shit. I still lack confidence that Slade has what it takes to take us forward and think better managers were available for a similar cost but there we go.

I agree 100%, Blue shirts and no nonsense tough tackling players, they don't like it up em !!! would be happy to be the Stoke of the lower divisions, with the odd good cup run to round 4 or 5 every once in a while, good get down gritty football back to Cardiff I say
