A question I want asked

Tue Jan 06, 2015 2:01 am

At this meeting quite frankly, I can stew on season ticket prices, stewarding, swopping ends at CCS, debt to equity etc. one thing will go the furthest in reuniting our great club and that is a full reversal of the rebrand. For me the rest can wait as much as I want them to be tackled. I don't wNt us going in with a long list of demands, let's just start with blue and bluebird badge.

There is however one thing I want to hear from the horses mouth. And yes you all have your own answers , theories and explanations for this question.

The question is, is it true Tony Pulis wanted to speak to us about the vacant managers post? And if so, why in Gods name wasn't the reigning premier league manager of the year and proud South walian given that opportunity? Not interested in what we have been saying on this, I can trawl back through this forum, I would love to know the hard facts, because if true that he was overlooked, that's the biggest cock up behind the rebrand itself.

But remember this if your the lucky forty going on Thursday, keep it simple. Do us proud , let's finally reunite and kick on, no more fan v fan, keep it blue :bluescarf: :bluescarf: :bluescarf:

This meeting is about finding out how us fans (customers) feel. It is not a meeting for us to ask about how the club does business.

Money talks.
Pulis wages would have been too much I imagine.
Is Slade only on £100000 a year compared to our previous managers?
Perhaps Tan is running our club like a business to balance the books.
Cant blame him for that.
At least Slade can get in good players from the lower leagues.
Us fans need to get back to reality, we are a business before a football club.

Surely how the club does business affects how we 'feel'. It does me. Announcing the rebrand after initially pulling out due to fan pressure then announcing its now been 'accepted', by whom?! not releasing details of shirt sales in Asia, one of the reasons for the rebrand, announcing that the rebrand is staying for good on xmas day driving a bigger wedge between the club and us or 'They' as Tan call us, the broken promise of debt to equity etc etc need I go on?

So yes your maybe right who knows yet? It is about how we feel, but that's totally connected to business matters.

Just concerned it's the same faces all the time attending these things and that's its PR ploy to dampen the obvious flames of discontent. I expect a final cleverly worded summary of the whol meeting to say things like 'first steps' 'moving forward together' and 'lets get to the premier league and revisit the bullet points of the meeting'. Nothing will be changed, but hand on heart I hope I am so wrong, and common sense will prevail, no more rebrand, no more chairman meddling in football matters, debt to equity and so on! I will forgive and forget for sure then.
