What if this happened...

Mon Jan 05, 2015 11:34 pm

For example he says 'yes the colour will be blue and the badge will have the bluebird' everyone then renews and in the summer he says 'well you broken your promise about the rebrand so I will brake my promise about the change back. By that time everyone would have renewed so what would people do then ?

All hypothetical and wouldn't happen. If the unlikely was to happen people would turn their back I imagine.

What if he says "blue will be the colour and the bluebird will be back on the badge" and does it. What happens then?

He's already said a couple of weeks ago cardiff will stay red, and he won't now go back on that.Fans are getting their hopes up to much imo.

Excatly he's already said that the fans have broken their side of the deal and that there will not be a change back to blue. so what's changed in a matter of days ? Now that's he's recently stated this two main points on record you can see why I was giving that situation in the OP

Admittedly knowing Tan as we do a change seems very unlikely but you have to ask why call a meeting about the rebrand just to repeat that the rebrand will stay and piss off people anymore than they already are.

I just don't see the point of the meeting after what he's stated.

I can see other fans being at this meeting saying their behind tan for his investment, it's going to descend into chaos IMO.

That's why it should be streamed so that everyone can watch the goings on

It's not supposed to be about the rebrand specifically though;

"The purpose of the consultation meeting is to give supporters an opportunity to openly share their views on a number of topics in relation the Club"

IMO it's just in a vein hope to get some people back on side by thinking that the club are listening.

The only thing that niggles me (hope probably) is that if Tan is such a great business man then he will realise he has made a mistake and put it right, that's what good business men do, I can't see that he would have achieved so much wealth without using his head and not his emotions.

I would not renew until I saw the new kit on the official site.

I would imagine if he stated publicly, or the club put an announcement out that we would be back in blue next year and 1000's renewed, those who wanted too would have legal ground for a refund on their tickets as it would be false advertising, I don't think the club or Tan would be that stupid to advertise something then go back on it in the summer, it would cost them £1000's in refunds. Not fact just my opinion/thoughts.

Let's be honest these lot have lied before with the colour: anyone remember the line 'we won't change the colour to red' ? And look what happened.

And I haven't even mentioned the amount of lies about the debt to shares issue.

If that's case why has he called it? Only thing could be for is colours anything else can be put out in statement, ST reduction ect ect! and Especially as the people invited are high profile in regards to supporting city! he can argue black and blue about fans not keeping their side bargain but that leaves him open to same accusation regarding debt, training ground!

If it is about returning to blue, the club have to inform the fa about change of kit,so it won't be a scam, just to get fans to renew season tickets, but deep down we all know the meeting ain't going to change anything,it's just tans two muppet trying to get the fans back on side

He's going to say "I am a reasonable man, and I have listened to the fans, as they are the lifeblood of the club. I have decided to go back to blue and the badge of the fans choice so the club can now go forward as one."

:o

Even tan is not that stupid to think we will be duped again, once bitten ect ect! He knows its got to be concrete proposals or nothing as fans wont except anything else.

Also I would bet the club will ask for all protests to cease whilst they pass on the fans views :bluescarf:
