...and restored our badge, would all be forgiven and people want him to stay?
Is there any way back for Vinny?!
Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:15 pm
Personally, yes without a doubt.

Agreed.
Not much of a choice at the moment anyway, is there ?

I'm not sure, so many friendships have been broken. So many cracks have appeared I'm not sure if anything can really fix the situation in it's entirety. However, it would certainly go a long way into sealing those cracks.
The only other issue is the debt. We have built up huge amounts since the rebrand, one of the conditions was to convert that debt to equity. If Tan returns is back to blue he could say I am not converting it to equity and demand all his money back.
If we can fix the badge, colours and debt I would be very happy and would applaud mr tan.
Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:19 pm
I'll be surprised if most people don't say yes but I'd also be surpised if Tan did it. After all, he is our saviour and we should all bow down before him regardless
Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:19 pm
Yes for me....No agenda from me other than returning back to blue and the bluebird as our emblem, although I wouldn't mind a drop in the season ticket price
Tan is the owner, he makes the big decisions. I wish he would get a DOF to keep us from the daft swings we have made. Malky to Slade wouldn't have been a biggie, but throwing Ole in the middle totally fcuked thing up
Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:22 pm
It's interesting seeing people's responses as there have been so many other issues raised in the past - ie. Involvement in team selection, staff dismissals / recruitments, debt to equity etc...
Is it as simply as colour and badge to heal the wounds for the masses?
It feels like there are so many more issues!

Not a chance, I have nothing but hatred towards him
Mon Jan 05, 2015 9:47 pm
If he stays out of the footballing side yes. Not sure I could trust him though

Rick Wright? Possibly
Mon Jan 05, 2015 10:24 pm
I think that would be my only compromise if I'm honest. And I would promise not to call him Vinny tw*t anymore
Mon Jan 05, 2015 10:28 pm
no i'd find it difficult to forgive a ruthless businessman like him, especially when he's shown he has scant regard for the fans or the tradition of this club. what he's done to this club should be remembered and never glossed over.
since he's come to the club its changed beyond recognition to me. i want him gone.

Not bad but did a few dodgy deals I seem to remember

We've had our share Stefan Telezki, Tony Clemo, Kumars, Hammam, PMG/Langston/Ridsdale and that's just off the top of my head.
I must admit I always trusted TG and whilst we'll probably never know for sure I believe he left because he gave promises over the re-brand that Tan overruled.
Mon Jan 05, 2015 10:34 pm
No, I'll never forget what he's done to our club!
Even if we were turned back to blue, I'm not sure City will ever feel the same again.

It won't sadly mate, ruined the club, ruined it beyond.

Hatred is a strong emotion. I seem to recall that even Annis has stated that he believed that Tan was badly advised about the rebrand and he was led to believe we would accept it. Who knows for sure. Terry Philips has pointed out today there have been many positives that Tan has brought to the club and if he was to change us back then why not give him another chance

Tan has broken up friendships between mates so yes I do hate him for that

Nothing will ever be forgiven for what he's done to the history of our club, but I wouldn't protest against him anymore.

No, I absolutely despise the c**t

Interesting:
I had a business partner who never came to the office and knew fuk all about what was really going on with
The business and staff.
He was getting fed bits by a underhand staff member and had a totally different view of what was really happening. This
Has a serious impact on management of business and business decisions and ultimately ruined a good business.
If this type of thing applies to Tan.
(Where tan really thought that we accepted the rebrand and now we have changed our
Minds due to Malky saga or relegation etc) then his view point is different to the vast majority of City fans.
Him being away and out of touch day to day won't help either.
After seeing Malky spunk his money he now interferes in team affairs. This has to stop too. Tan needs to learn lessons
In football. I'm prepared to give an olive branch as compromise is a two way street.
Tue Jan 06, 2015 9:03 am
Malky made the club millions more than what he lost!!! When are people going to realise this ?
Tue Jan 06, 2015 9:30 am
It's becoming fairly plain that this is a split opinion.
I am quite worried after reading some of these comments that even if we do return to blue with tan still here, there will still be a rift and a fair amount of arguing between fans. Forgiven vs unforgiven etc
Tue Jan 06, 2015 10:07 am
I agree (hence why I started the thread!).
It'll be interesting to see what happens over the coming months
Tue Jan 06, 2015 10:21 am
If he turned us back blue and changed our badge he would want to feel like a hero
I would never give him that satisfaction after what he's doing to our club right now
Get him out
Tue Jan 06, 2015 12:03 pm
Given the mentality of a lot of so called supporters on here, why on earth would Tan turns us back to blue. They will still hate him anyway.

It amazes me that people can't see this point
"If I turn you back to blue, will you forgive me?"
"No, f**k Off"
"Well what's the point then?"
Tue Jan 06, 2015 1:06 pm
Couldn't care less what he thinks, he has made me feel unable to follow my football club for three years, he has made me argue with a hell of a lot of people and has ruined the one consistent love of my life.
He can f.uck off and I will never EVER forgive him. Hatred is a strong word but it sums up exactly what I feel for him.
