As much as I think he could be an asset, I still think we should be working more on midfield and defense.

As good as he might be, I just can't see a 5"4' striker fitting in at Cardiff. Best for him if he goes somewhere else.

Messi is 5ft 6 inches and he copes ok..seriously though 5 ft 4 inches is really short and yet he has managed to get into the Chelsea set up...he must have something going for him...he also dumped his agent, phoned the club late last night and made it down here for training this morning...that is also a credit to him for wanting to play rather than meander in amongst the other young players at Chelsea.

He is basically having a couple of days trial and if he impresses we will sign him on loan, seems ok to me and lets have a look at him before making judgements based on the height of the guy.

No, not finished yet I wouldn't imagine (I bloody hope not!) We've still got loads to ship out so we can get back to training a smaller, more inter-developed squad.

Someone up here mantion him to me this morning. Told me that he was at Celtic where he impressed with his pace and ablilty. Was in the Scotland U21 setup at a very young age, however was seen as some to be a bit of a lad and got rid of Celtic when Chelsea looked intrested. Has issues with the SFA now apparently. refuses to play for Scotand U21's. Has been getting into some trouble outside of football. Don't know how reliable that info is.

He does look talented though and appears to be very quick qhich is just what we need IMO.
