" A Way Forward "

Do your talking on the pitch. Slade has to galvanise the players and show them the importance and desire needed to give to the fans and past players of the club who have represented them with passion and distinction in the past. They MUST fight for the Initial ball and then the important second ball and run until they drop. Nothing less will do. Bollocks to the 'game plan'. The game plan is to put into motion the things I have just said so that the support will get behind the team. Win the ball, keep it, attack and play in the opposition half. When they see the goalposts - shoot - it's not rocket science

Marshall

Brayford
Connolly
Turner (capt)
John (new)

Noone( and for ***** sake stay wide to beat players and cross the ball)- you are not a central midfield player
Adeyemi
Gunner
Ralls (Harris to come on as an impact player). In our current situation we must only play with one winger.

Witts

Jones

Subs: Moore, Fabio, Morrisson, John/new , Le Fondre, Harris , Guerra - for God's sake give the man a chance.

Why are people criticising No one for drifting in? slade has told him to do this. Our fans honestly.

It's the way he plays, constantly cut in front the right last season. It was very effective!

Good thread fella !!

I've been thinking about the possibility of a 3-5-2 formation if Slade insists on having two up front.

The key is that the forwards need to press the opposition defence and midfield need to keep pressing the opposition. Give them little time on the ball, giving them difficult or poor quality possession.

Slade also needs to be more flexible and adaptable as game situations develop, filling gaps if they appear due to strengths of the opposition or taking advantage of weaknesses within the opposition.

Answers to comments made:

Yes - I have got coaching badges. Have you ? But this means nothing. I mean play with heart and passion
Manga is in Africa
Slade is the manager - and WE can't change this
There is a difference between 'cutting in' and playing centrally. Against Colchester he ensured we had no structure. Stay wide and play to your strengths
