Cardiff City are close to sealing a January loan deal for Chelsea youngster Islam Feruz. Bolton have also been interested in the 19-year-old Scotland U21 striker, who has been on loan at OFI Crete.

Come on guys what we need is experience. We just let our most promising player(Mats Daehli) go for a song.Look what happened when we signed Zaha who had bags of potential but did not show it for us. Zaha was unique, had no heart and has continued to decline. We do need gas. I was a massive fan of matts but in reality he did very little in his game time, forget positions and formations it was proved he wasn't strong enough

Just been watching clips of him an he reminds me of earny even does his goal celebration. Lets hope if he does come he can match is goal scoring record.

Agree about passion and pace, which has been seriously lacking. The good thing about Ralls and Adeyemi against Colchester is the drive and fight they gave us. Gunnars has been terrible for over a month.

Clearly the poster was refering to the fact that we are supposed to be close to signing "a Premier League player"... when in fact he hasn't played in the Premier.

JET - remember him? One game he gave the most complete winger performance I seen, pace power blistering shot but never lived up to it, was at Ipswich last I heard.

The minute he joined Ipswich he immediately starting abusing Cardiff on Twitter.

He plays for Bristol City now. Other than him starting at Arsenal as a kid, it makes me happy knowing that his time at Cardiff was the pinnacle of his career after the abuse he gave us.

Just a question but how do so many people know that this fella is any good and he's what we need!!!, surly not that many have seen him play..... He's only got 1 senior appearance on his cv and he certainly ain't a premier League player just because he's on chelskis books.......

I tend to disagree too. In another thread from Annis, it is evident that some of the old-timers could do worse than look at the new kids on the block.
