players slade couldnt afford

Sat Jan 03, 2015 6:37 pm

maybe just maybe slade might have a few gems now available to get in the transfer window
who he might of wanted at orient but could not afford
hes managed over 700 games during 20 years of management he must know most of the players in the lower leagues and could quite possibly get the best of them for us hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm lets give him a chance
also its time to lay off him over the deilhi sale , firstly the boy did not want to stay once ole was sacked ,,this his agent made quite clear to slade ,,and tan was only too pleased to re coup what he got for him .
imo getting rid of the overpaid players and bringing younger hungry ones in on much less wages is the right way to go .
once the finances are in order ie not losing money every month the better chance we got of either tan doing the debt to equity thing or some one coming in and buying tan out.
time for patience I think on the playing side .
but keep the protests going against tan is the best way imo :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

I agree with getting some of the overpaid players off the books and getting players in who will put the shift in, but have no confidence in Slade making any progress with results over next 5 games. By the time Brighton home comes can see us been right in the shit.

Hello league 1 :o

I think Slade will bring in bargain players with him being in lower leagues a long time he must have a good eye on some gems. :thumbright:

But will stick to his 442 and we will continue to get overrun in midfield and offer no service to the front men.

yeah playing a team from the standard he should be managing at, let's see what he does at Fulham think I can guess though.

Steve i think people better get used to it as thats the route we are going down (Slade's appointment told me this ) where the over paid fannys are getting shipped out and players comming in on much much less. As long as there fighters then i dont see a problem but of course you get what you pay for in most cases in life.
Tan is cost cutting clearly and the days of 4-5 million pound players are over and its muched welcomed by me as we all know its just another loan so im glad we are cutting the wage bill & squad, to me hes selling off what he can and is going to sit on parachute payments over the next 1-2 seasons then sell us off and hes got something back then rather than nothing. Thats my opinion of whats going on anyway :bluescarf:

Tried something new for a little time in the cup.

I think we all know he will be back to 4-4-2 next league game.

Slade knows that he needed to change the tactics and the 451 worked so surely he will start using it.

Bollocks about daehli mate. He would have stayed If slade played him. Slade played a part in this.
You can't expect a player to want to stay if they are not made to feel wanted at all.

He was the youngest and hungriest player at the club so not sure what you are on about with the notion that we are getting rid of overpaid players to replace them with younger and hungrier players. Of the current squad slade prefers the older more experienced player. The players we are linked too aren't that young.

What I don't understand is how tan was prepared to back oles spending 5-6 months ago. As soon as slade comes in its let's get rid of all oles signings and buy bargains from the lower league. It's so all over the place. No long term planning.

oles players were high earners that's why they came
slade met deilhis agent within the first week of taking over and was told he wanted to go hence not being played that's how young and hungry he was :bluescarf:

Yep but its easy for people to blame slade, even when hes come out and said he didnt want to stay eitherway. Most know he was only here steve because of ole :laughing6:

Whoever told you that is not entirely truthful.
Since slade Exaggarted daehlis supposed injury I am surprised you take everything he says at face value.
Daehli said he wasn't getting a look in that's why he moved.
He is on record as saying he was working hard to get in the team ..,at a certain point he realised he wouldn't get any games at cardiff. He's on record saying it was a tough period.
He was pushed through the door with the way he was handled.Perhaps it wasn't only slades fault, maybe tan figured he was a player her could recoupiate money for. Whatever...
But it was never a situation where he wanted to leave as soon as ole left. That's bollocks mate.
