Sat Jan 03, 2015 6:56 am

For best effect the next home game thats on Sky. Coverage would be immense and would cause huge embarrassment to vinny tw*t. We need to ramp it up now. its now or never in my book.

Im already staying away, although i understand why people are moaning daily and still going.
Whats the difference now to not renewing next season nothings going to change inbetween. Alot of people talk the talk on here but dont do anything about it and think by wearing a blue top will change things in my opinion there are living in cloud cuckoo land if thats what they think will change things as tans xmas interview proved that (wakey wakey).
There will be a few called judas next season on here if they enter the ccs when 1000s upon 1000s dont renew nore will i have time for such supposed friends anymore who go :bluescarf:

Wont boycott this year as I've paid for my season ticket. I'm 60/40 at the moment not to renew my season ticket. Will have to wait and see how many renew for next season. If not many then I will join them and not renew.

Yes I would , I think this needs to happen.

Pointless if you have an ST. The attendance would still read as 20k and Tan will be happy.

After what I read last night about fans getting 3 year bans for chanting Tan Out, I'm prepared to boycott as many league games as it takes before that idiot gets driven out of our club! The CCS is like being in a concentration camp these days. CCS = Concentration Camp Stadium!

I think this why it needs to be a sky game so it can be seen. Will make the club look even stupider announcing 20k.

A big majority are saying yes. Next how could we get tbis into practice ?

I have been saying I wouldn't this season because I've already payed, and also because I don't think it would have enough of a backing to make much of a difference. If it is organised well and everyone knows about it then I would boycott.

I do think though, that any game that gets boycotted should be backed up by protesting outside the ground before and during the game

I would definitely boycott a game pointless on my own numbers are needed to empty the stadium.

Question is how does anybody organise it .seems like lots of fans would do it good luck organizing it.

I'd do it but needs to be a mass boycott to be effective no point in a few thousands.

That's the issue, it has to be organised and we'll documented do everyone who goes into the stadium knows they have the option to prove a point to tan.

Problem is if we fail Tan holds the cards, if we show any amply stadium or close then the media coverage would be great.

I am willing to work with someone if they have ideas how we can get this done. Hmmmmm

If it's organized properly with support from all supporter groups, I would join in. But like I've said quite a few times, I'm not joining in with a half-arsed boycott.

As ever people are simply looking for an excuse not to boycott. I won't do it unless everyone else does, I won't do it unless it's a league game, I won't do it unless it's on sky, I won't do it because I've got a season ticket.

It's not brain surgery, if you don't like the way tan is running the club then stop going to games. It really is THAT simple. If you do that then your mates might do it, and then others, and then we might finally get somewhere.

I'm not having a go at anyone that continues to attend, if you really want to carry on then that entirely your decision, boycotting the club you love and have followed for however long is not an easy decision to make, but if you really want that arrogant shower of shit gone then there really is only one way.

Boycott NOW.

I'm not looking for any excuse. I'll commit to any real protest that will help the blue cause. A half-arsed boycott will do absolutely nothing and won't make any real difference. Continuing to attend, wearing our colours and making our voices heard is a much better option than a couple thousand vocal fans not attending in my opinion. Sure, you will have some self pride for boycotting, but it won't make any real difference unless it's done in mass. That's the truth.

"If you don't like the way Tan is running the club stop going to games. It really is THAT simple." No, it's not that simple. Why should we have to stop supporting the club if we don't like the way the owner is handling things? If that's the case fans should've been boycotting years and years ago because I can't remember the last time we as a fanbase have been comfortable with the way things have been handled upstairs. The club is bigger than the owner.

I understand what you're saying, a boycott is the best way to go about this, but it will only work if 90% of our fans comply. I'm willing to comply if a boycott is organized properly.

A mass walk out after the 19 27 thing will do nicely. The plod will love 1000's of fans milling about protesting outside
It's going to have to get a lot worse before it gets better folks....

I would have no problem with a boycott and I agree if it's a televised game the affect will be greater. I would go further though and boycott the first home game after the club put ST on sale for next season. I am determined not to renew my ST until the club confirms we will return to our traditional colour.

I cannot remember the last time I missed a home League game, either at CCS or NP, and the moment ST go on sale I will send the club a letter confirming that I WILL NOT renew without confirmation of the return to Blue, and also inform the club that I will be boycotting the next League game to show how serious I am. If the club take the time to check my attendance record they will see it's a huge step for me to miss a home league match but needs must. I don't care about the guy who sits next to me in the stadium and I'm certainly not going to wait until 90% of fans join in, until now I haven't done enough to tell VT how I feel about his re-brand and that's why I'm determined to do what I can even if I'm the only one doing it.

I hope others do the same and as many as possible join in a mass boycott of a televised game but as important in my opinion is fans DO NOT renew thier ST as soon as they go on sale. If you are going to renew, and we need to respect this is a personal decision, delay the purchase until just before the closing date for applications. My guess is if enough delay the closing date WILL be extended and when it is still don't renew.

In my opinion it's the only way to send VT the message, Enough is enough.

Defo needs to be a sky game, but a lot of people will say we only boycotted this game because it's on sky and we can, as you say, "still see the game with a beer in our hand."

I think we should protest outside the ground whilst the game is on with loads of "TAN OUT" banners. This will have a greater impact in the media.

This season I've only been going to away games and cup games anyway, so count me in. What was the TV coverage like of the Blackpool walkout? I was at the game and it was quite good but limited to just one group of fans. Obviously we are a higher profile than them with tans reputation, just wondered how it was covered and what impact it had?
