A forum for all things Cardiff City

Just like when he moved Noone to left back in one of his first games Slade made an equally strange tactical change again tonight.
In the second half when Le Fondre came on he went straight to Noone and told him to play as one of the 3 central midfield players.
Noone's reaction was to shrug his shoulders and put his arms out as if to say 'what me'. Shortly after I saw him several times asking Adeyemi where he should position himself and who he should be picking up.
The Colchester goal came when Noone lost his player in midfield before running towards a group of 3 Cardiff players, whilst the player he should have picked up made space for himself to shoot and score.
Why start a player in the number 10 role when he's nothing more than an average winger then move him to a position that's even more alien to him?

Sorry my heading should have said 'another strange decision'
