Whittingham for me, played much better in an advanced position, chased everything down which I'm surprised about.

Could easily go to John or Adayemi though :ayatollah:

Everyone slated Declan John and were saying he wasn't good enough, which I can't understand how they were able to as Slade never played him? Now Slade is playing him, John is able to show you how talented he really is. Yes he is still young, which means there is room to improve but if they start off young the final result is more likely to turn out more successful as they have more experience and could also be more professional. Declan played well today and deserves praise! Well done Declan, keep up the good work! :bluescarf:

Thank you both, I don't understand how people can simply down Declan John as he was played most games in the premier league and now we have gone down into the championship he gets played hardly ever, surely the better the player the better the league they should play in?

Everyone deserves a chance and with the potential Declan has got, I simply don't understand why he hasn't been given a chance?? Anyway, great to see Declan in the squad today and he played very well. Vote ' Declan ' :bluescarf: :ayatollah:

Great to see Declan John giving 110%, MOTM for me and wonder if he could do an even better job for us up front. Didn't he start as a winger? Talented guy and knows what it means to be wearing the shirt, glad I made the effort to go along

He's been given loads of chances over the last couple of years. Generally, his defending has let him down no end of times.
I like Declan, he had a decent game tonight & is definitely a good prospect.

He hasn't had as many chances as other players have been given and yet again he is one, if not the youngest player in the team and like any other players, there is room for improvement. Without Declan being played, that will make the progress harder as he wont be given as much experience on the pitch as the other players.

Sorry ,got to disagree about John. The effort and desire is there and its great to see a young lad do well but his defensive work is poor imo

Declan John for me.

Re: " VOTE " MOTM v Colchester United (h)

I think John does well whilst whilst attacking either with the ball at his feet or moving into decent areas but his positioning defensively is poor. He'll probably revert to being a winger at some point. Fabio should do the same. Still, he had a good game last did as did some of the youngsters.

Adeyemi wins.
