I'm calling it now, Pulis will get Victor Anichebe playing in the form of his life. I've always thought Anichebe has all the attributes to be a top Premiership striker with his pace, power, strength etc. Pulis loves players like Anichebe and Pulis is an expert at getting players to utilise their attributes to their maximum. Pulis' game plan will be to get the ball forwards to Anichebe and Anichebe will use his mobility to run defenders into the ground and use his physicality to dominate them. Anichebe will be a nightmare for defenders to play against with Pulis managing him imo.

I also suggest Lescott being put into your fantasy teams as Pulis will keep West Brom organised and tight at the back and then win games from a set piece. I can see Lescott scoring a lot of goals from set pieces under Pulis, just like Shawcross and Huth used to for Stoke. This is a fantastic appointment for West Brom, I believe they will comfortably avoid relegation and achieve a mid table finish now, as Pulis is that good.

An opportunity missed from an owner who knows zilch about football and killing us slowly. :-(
The Baggies got themselves one hell of a manager, good luck to them.

It could have been us promoted and them down, now it will be them safe and us fighting against relegation, what a feckimg idiot Tan is to appoint a no mark from the lower leagues

We should have employed Pulis instead of Slade.

I was hoping Slade may have gone in the last few days so Tan could put right his mistake and interview Pulis.

As it is my exile remains while Tan has his yes man and the fans argue the toss over a colour.

Happy New Year everyone.

Hope we get a new owner, revert to blue and get a decent manager. I can then come back to, and talk about, the club I (used to) love.
