The Bluebirds owner is ready to back Slade in the January transfer window, with rumours of an emergency board meeting at the club today false
Under-fire Cardiff City manager Russell Slade still has the full support and backing of owner Vincent Tan, WalesOnline understands.
The Bluebirds boss saw his side make it five games on the bounce without a win as they slumped 4-2 to Watford in the Welsh capital on Sunday.
The defeat followed on from successive reverses against Bournemouth and Brentford as well as a Boxing Day draw against Charlton despite the Addicks being down to 10 men for much of the contest.
Slade's side have now shipped 13 goals in their last four matches.
However the Watford showing represented something of a new low and it led to some Cardiff fans taunting Slade with chants of: "You’re getting sacked in the morning!"
Following the woeful display Slade said he accepted the supporters’ views, but insisted he remained fully focused on the job in hand and still hoped to push Cardiff into the play-off places.

If Slade loses his next two league games then he is a goner. Don't be surprised to see a new director of football or number two appointed in time for the transfer window.

He'll get his wish come 31st January, we are going to be in real problems by then.
Mind you, when Slade puts out the stiffs (I mean Tan orders the stiffs to be played to get them coverage to be sold) on Friday night, we'll know exactly who is the bitch!
I hope no one has bought a ticket and it sends out a clear message for live tv pictures to see.

There was never a meeting planned for today. They simply read this message board and saw that some of us had said there should be an emergency board meeting scheduled today at 8:00am. That's the source of their rumour.
Their content is gash but then again I would expect nothing less of an entity owned by Trinity Mirror and the herberts who work for them.
