We're all entitled to our opinion, surely they have no right to not let fans take banners in.
They'll ban us from taking our own blue scarves in next.
Tan is making himself look more idiotic day by day.
If he thinks he can stop the protests like this, he couldn't be more wrong.

They could say it's on healthy & safety reasons.. the banners do not have a fire safety compliance.

Annis if someone started posting obscene things, or things you didn't like about you on this message board you'd ban them and/or stop them, and rightly so. Inside that stadium that Tan up keeps and pays for it's his dinner table we're dining at and he has the right to stop things that he doesn't like. We might not like it, but to act like its a freedom of speech issue is laughable.

Yes I do and if you have just written on a banner " Tan Out " or " David Cameroon Out " that is your right as you feel they are not good enough to run your club or your country etc.
I know they have a right to stop them on the grounds that its not a public stadium, but surely as fans we have a right of say?most clubs dont act like Dictators to their fans.
What harm is there holding a banner up?

What has Cameron or Tan got to do with your website? If someone gave you abuse on this website for how you run it you'd Have the right to ban them and rightly so.
Also other clubs don't have to ban them because their isn't the dissatisfaction that our fans (rightly) have. But they still would http://www.hullcitytigers.com/news/arti ... 04193.aspx no question.
This doesn't mean I don't think people should do it, that there shouldn't be in ground protests if that's the route people wish to go. But to use words like "dictator" and "freedom of speech" shows a profound level of ignorance.
Are you a dictator for getting rid of Roathie? Of course not and neither is Tan. Tan is however a massive f*cking clown.

The last couple of home games Cardiff City fans have tried to take in the stadium and some have managed to get them in Banners/Signs and small posters with Tan out on them.
They have then had them snatched of them, taken from them and threatened with being banned or ejected, when City fans have asked surely its our right, many have been told orders from the Stadium management.

Would you agree you stopped his 'freedom of speech'? Or banned him because he was a rude and maybe hazardous guest?I disagree with you,I believe our fans have a right to speak out and you wont change my opinion![]()

This isn't an opinion though it's fact, no one has the right to yell fire in a crowded theatre. No one should be able to come into your house and yell at you if you don't want them too, like it or loath it CCS is Vincent Tan's house.Tan is a Dictator the way he runs our club and thats my strong opinion and belief![]()

with freedom of speech comes responsibility. a simple tan out banner is neither abusive nor an abuse of the responsibility of free speech.
as FB said, it is no different to holding up a sign outside parliament saying david cameron out. you may not agree with the message but that is not the point. taking away the banner drives a further wedge between the club and the fans, with the stewards clearly showing where their loyalties lie, which is all they are achieving by trying to smother free speech. shame on them.

how is 'tan out' abusive?
this thread is about the fans right to portray their views that they want tan out of the club. the abuse that tan is a c**t is not the issue in question here.
why are fans allowed to chant that we want tan out, but not put it on a banner as a visual message? you must be consistent here and ban both if you think one is abusive.
