They do,but he has not invested that much, the Supporters have kept the club going and are major shareholders in the club.

Fair point but without him they'd be fooked. My understanding is that whilst he's never invested a huge lump sum he's made things very comfortable through the interest his fortune earns and basically that means financing buying players etc.

If we end up in League 1, so what? It didn't do Southampton, Norwich and Leicester any harm, as they subsequently made it to the Premier League. The Premier League is everything in modern football - if you don't want to have a go in the best club competition in World football then you might as well give up.

We are currently on an awful run and if it continues we could end up in a relegation battle, then who knows what the out come would be?
Newport County are currently 5th in the 4th Division on a terrific run(3 go up automatically),a club owned by fans and our little neighbours who detest us,but to be fair to them, loyal to their club and not sold their souls.
If they were promoted?
We could end up in the same division odds at the moment 100/1 but would u bet your house against it happening?
Most Red Glory hunters have already left our club, but sadly also a lot of loyal fans have and I dont blame them, we could end up on par with little Newport County once again.
So was it really worth it, the stripping of our identity, many fans told me to move on when I spoke out,now they dont go themselves Hmmmmmmmmm![]()

Its unbelievable that this could even happen, but thats how bad we have become.

Our club is so screwed it may take a decade or more to get the club back to where it was a few years ago.
This era will go down in history as 'how not to run a football club'.. PHds in football club management may be developed around it!
We need new owners who will return our identity and start to rebuild faith between club and fans. Fans likewise need to accept that we will spend the foreseeable future in the championship or league one as the rebuilding goes ahead.
All of this of course is dependent on Tan leaving the club and the new owners having the heart for the club and fans and not just the ambition for success.... Tan has proved you can't have the latter without the former.
RIP CCFC, I hope you are resurrected one day.

Resurrected one day maybe but how many fans will return? I doubt that many....fair play to Tan he has done something quite unique in actually killing off a club. Divide and conquer. Shocking

Amazing how things can change quickly in football. They could easily get promoted and we could easily go down. Funny thing is, lots of their fans would come out of the woodwork yet all our older or passionate fans wouldn't be there as they don't go anymore.really makes you wonder where it all went wrong? After Blackpool play off should we have just gone into admin? Sacking malky? Hiring ole? Tan lying about debt to equity? Obviously the rebrand has killed us off slowly but certain high profile fans have a lot of blood on their hands I'd say for giving Tan the ok.....

That Blackpool playoff loss was even bigger than we thought, if we had won that and been promoted, then arguably Tan would never have become involved and if he had, the rebrand most certainly wouldn't have seen the light of day. Yes, blowing promotion then, set in place a devastating set of events

I'm not so sure. Tan was a "guest" of Peter Ridsdale, at the Blackpool game, with a view to investing in us then.
The rebrand could have happened a year earlier??
