Yes you're right but what do you mean about a golden ticket?
I think he means Slade was given the job at exactly the time he was going to be sacked by Leyton Orient, so he was in a no-lose situation. Either way, his money (I think someone said c.£100k plus any bonuses) is guaranteed for one year ahead

If the players looked tired, name names!! Issue fines, put on extra fitness sessions, tighten the regime. Don't just whinge man.
Much as I hate to admit it, Garry Monk had the right idea when he publicly named Shelvey as a lazy sod. If that doesn't sort him out, nothing will.
Slade can say what he likes but with 1/3 possession and conceding 4 goals at home that's relegation form.
