Let's be honest Vincent Tan was factually correct

Sun Dec 28, 2014 10:59 pm

27,000 fans stood there with Red Scarfs V Brighton.

Didn't see any demonstrations around the bay when thousands and thousands turned out to celebrate winning the Championship.

He says you backed him, he had the " leaders" backing him across the media , main culprits Gwyn Davies and Tony Jeffries
http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-wales-18032351

You can see why he thinks he had the backing ...... And now you demonstrate when you losing ? He's factually correct.

I agree but he hasn't kept his side of it either, no debt to equity, no training ground.

Personally I never liked it but accepted it as I had no choice.

Would you switch debt to equity if you had a rising against you ? I'd say fook that !

Everyone had a choice, his words if they don't want it, I'll walk away. That was the perfect time, but the £ seemed a lot more important. Too much exposure was given to planks like Gwyn Davies & Tony Jeffries and their side kick Vince Alm who all stood on National TV shouting down the stance of the fans.

Always another side to look at.

The red was growing in the stadium. Some old school had give up and went and bought the red shirt. Then along came BU with Vincent saying the club will live with this 5% dissention.

Yes he blue was "struggling" but it was only a question of time before Tan dropped a clanger. That came at that Brighton game. To the outside world it look like mission accomplished for Tan but how wrong they were. Next game away to Wolves 2,000 travelling fans and pure blue. The blue had started to resurrect itself.

Less and less are wearing red now, in fact hardly anyone. Yes the drop in performance on the pitch has help but the blue would have rose even if we were still in the premier. However this is where we are, the re-brand is dead in the heart of Cardiff City that being the fans although it is visible on he outside thanks to one individual ignorant man.

Very good point. Hopefully your fans have seen the light, and the likes of Davies, Jeffries & Alm will be outcast and ignored in future, but with Sam on the scene with his pending consortium they will be jumping ship quickly for the publicity and self needed " bigger fan " image.

Daya, your last sentence reveals a big part of the problem ahead, i.e. those specific people will likely be allowed back 'in' by Sam and that won't be good for the club or its paying supporters

What the future holds we can only wait and see what develops. What is very clear is that to go forward we need unity and that is only going to happen by returning to blue. The fans don't want it and they are the club. I hope the lesson gets learnt.

For the lesson to be learn't fully Tan has to go.
